Lauren Guldemond is a young, ambitious basketball player from the Netherlands. She discovered the game as a toddler alongside her older brother Merijn at practice, and took her first official steps in 2017 as a Peanut at Batouwe Basketball in Bemmel. From 2023 she also played for Arnhem Eagles in the U14-1 first division on a Talent Licence; in 2025 she made the permanent move to Arnhem Eagles. With passion, perseverance and a high basketball IQ she works on her development every practice — on her way to the highest level. In the 2026-2027 season she moves up to the U16-1 first division.

On 25 July 2026 Lauren (Captain Clutch) wins the Dutch 3x3 Championship U14 women with Triple Eagles in Amsterdam. With her regular teammates away on holiday, she puts together a pick-up team with Lana (BV Hoofddorp) and Danore (Grasshoppers) — the girls knew each other through the first-division teams of Arnhem Eagles and BV Hoofddorp, and through Girls Get Buckets. Unbeaten on the way to the final once again — a nail-biting showdown in which Groningen is only beaten in overtime.

3x3 tournament final in Utrecht — wildcard for the Dutch Championship Finals

On 11 July 2026 Lauren — as Captain Clutch — reaches the final of the 3x3 tournament in Utrecht with team Triple Eagles (alongside Top Gun, Tower of Power and Steel Queen) after four unbeaten games. They finish second — and earn a wildcard for the Dutch Championship (NK) Finals in Amsterdam.

Batouwe wins the Gelderland U14 championships thanks to an equaliser against her future Arnhem Eagles teammates. Lauren claims her first title as MVP of the tournament.
